We just love to give out prizes to our lovely cake breakers here at Cake Break HQ, and with Cake Break 2014 drawing to a close we are delighted to be able to announce this year’s prize winners. We had a number of different categories, and have to say it wasn’t the easiest of jobs to choose!
First up was the category for top fundraiser which actually this year went to TWO amazing ladies, who have impressed us no end with their commitment and enthusiasm for Cake Break. You may recognise their names, congratulations Kat Garner and Kirsty Brady! Together they raised an incredible £5,279 from their Cake Break, and we’re delighted to reward them with £60 worth of Love to Shop Vouchers to treat themselves with.
Other prize winners were Heather Quick who was selected when she sent her donation in before 20 June. Heather has won a Gordon’s Wine Bar voucher for dinner and drinks. Enjoy! The School fundraising award goes to Ridgeway Middle School whose pupils sent in a lovely card telling us all about their Cake Break – they have received a pair of netball posts. Time to burn off that cake!
We also like to celebrate our newbie cake breakers, and winner Carly Wright is one of these – we’re pleased to say that we have sent out some L’Oreal Products for her to pamper herself with. Creative cake went to Alison Matthews, whose yummy cakes (as you can see!) were a huge hit at her Cake Break event.
Our long serving Cake Break Award goes to Theresa Welham, who has been baking for the MS Society for years, and we are thrilled to have been able to reward her with a Spa Day Voucher, to thank her for all her hard work in the kitchen.
Finally, our award for Most Imaginative Cake Break fundraiser goes to new comer Stephen Wilson, who not only raised an amazing £406.24 but allowed people to through cake in his face all in the name of charity! He is a star in our books, and we are delighted to send him out a National Trust Cook Book for his fundraising efforts.
